VCADS Pro 8.0

VCADS Pro is Volvo Information Technology AB’s professional diagnostic and programming software for Volvo Group commercial vehicles and related industrial engines. Designed for dealership and advanced service environments, it provides OEM-level access to vehicle electronic control systems to speed troubleshooting, ensure accurate repairs, and support parameter configuration.

Key capabilities include:

• Reading and clearing diagnostic trouble codes and viewing live sensor data
• Guided diagnostics, test routines, and calibrations for major systems
• Parameter setup and adjustments (for example, speed limiters, PTO, and idle settings)
• Authorized ECU software updates and downloads
• Service documentation and reporting to improve maintenance traceability

VCADS Pro runs on Windows and connects through Volvo-approved communication adapters over standard vehicle networks (such as CAN). It is a legacy product that has been succeeded in many applications by Volvo Tech Tool (also known as Premium Tech Tool). Access to certain functions, including software downloads, requires appropriate licensing and credentials.

VCADS Pro is developed by Volvo Information Technology AB and is used by 7 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 1.4, 4.0 and 8.0.
